EXPERIENCE

Best Case Studios, Remote

Manager of Production & Development, March 2023-March 2024

Best Case Studios is a premium production company with a focus on podcasting. I continued my previous responsibilities and took over the Manager position for our two departments. While in this role, I produced three seasons of Amy Poehler’s parody podcast series Say More with Dr? Sheila and associate produced multiple fiction and non-fiction shows, including Fallen Angels: A Story of California Corruption. I also acted as Script Supervisor on one of our fiction shows when working with Annie Kauffman, though the podcast is not yet released. I managed our social media accounts and created the episode visuals that accompanied our podcast launch of The Whistleblowers when we screened it for our launch party at E Street Cinemas in Washington, D.C.

On the development side, I continue to give creative edits and notes on pitches, scripts, episode cuts, and pitch decks. I directed trailer and pilot narration and workshopped our shows in development.

Associate Producer, Production & Development, July 2022-March 2023

I continue my work coordinating, and have taken on Associate Producing duties. I was the AP on 40+ episodes of MarketWatch’s show Best New Ideas in Money with Stephanie Kelton, where I coordinated the team, interviewed guests, pulled selects, directed narration recordings, and researched and brainstormed new episodes. Here are two episodes I’m particularly proud of, one on students loans and one on Gen Z in the workplace.

In addition, I coordinate freelance staff and talent, which includes legal forms and payment, and maintaining cost reports.

Production & Development Coordinator, January 2022-July 2022

While continuing my work as Production Coordinator, I added on the responsibilities of the Development Coordinator. I reviewed submissions and gave creative feedback, created pitch decks, took pitch meetings from writers, did archival research for our docu-series, and assisted in story structure and ideation.

Production Coordinator, August 2021-December 2022

In this role I coordinated the C13 Features podcast Ghostwriter (starring Kate Mara and Adam Scott) and Treat (starring Kiernan Shipka), both of which went to #1 in Fiction Podcasts. I ran technical supervision over recording sessions, coordinated cast and crew, and organized show materials and processes.

Film and Theatre Departments, Semester Abroad, May, 2019

During my Junior year at Smith, I spent my spring semester attending Queen Mary University of London. I worked tirelessly on an experimental archival documentary for a documentary production class, one at the graduate level, focusing on ASMR and intimacy formed online. At the end of the semester, I was accepted as a student attendee and invited to attend the Cannes Film Festival. It was amazing to see these fabulous films and hear the directors and stars talk so passionately about their work. It was a semester of going out of my comfort zone and I am so grateful for all of the opportunities.
